1. The Merseyside starting point
We first looked for a currently operating hotel with a licensed casino on the same Merseyside property. We found none that met the test. Former New Brighton and Southport hotel–casino pairings are closed, so we say that plainly rather than stretching “nearby” to fit.
2. The widened search
We then considered a neighbouring North West campus and selected Great Britain properties with a documented physical relationship between hotel and casino. A casino merely in the same city does not qualify.
3. Order, not score
Venues are ordered first by the closeness of integration: same roof or inside the hotel, connected property, ground-floor co-location, then same campus. Breadth of facilities around the stay breaks close comparisons. This is not a quality score and nobody paid for position.
4. Sources
We prioritise official hotel pages, official casino pages and the Gambling Commission public register. We date every factual check. We do not copy unverified room prices, table counts, awards or licence numbers.
5. What can change
Opening hours, entrances, dress rules, identification policy, amenities, branding and operator details can change without notice. Readers should confirm both sides of the stay directly before travelling.
6. Image policy
Stock images are labelled as openly licensed stock photography. Site-created artwork is labelled as an atmospheric illustration and never presented as a photograph of a named venue.
